One piece of Kishu Binchotan, the "white charcoal", handcrafted in Japan by SORT OF COAL. The white charcoal acts as a natural filter purifying and enriching the water with minerals such as potassium and magnesium.  First use: Sterilize the Binchotan boiling it for five minutes, then drain the water and dry it in the pot.How to use: Fill the glass bottle with cold tap water, gently slide the Binchotan inside and leave for at least two hours (preferably overnight).  Refrigerate the purified water for at least two hours before serving.  When not in use, dry the Binchotan and store it in a container.
